Who is Philipp Plein
Philipp Plein Patrick was born in Munich in 1978, he is therefore a German fashion designer. He studied at the Gymnasium Schloss Salem boarding school and at Alexander University in Erlangen.
Philipp Plein from his childhood showed a great interest in art, largely thanks to his parents who raised him to love it. A date to remember is when on February 4, 2009, Philipp presented his new creation, the Philipp Plein-Barbie, at the prestigious Nuremberg toy fair. It was not a randomly chosen date, it was the 50th anniversary of the Barbie Doll.

Philipp only put one condition, to be able to sell the furniture he designed. The ideas of the young designer soon attracted attention. He created small handbags, made with different types of leather, to use as upholstery samples for the armchairs.
In the end, the idea of presenting the sample through small bags attracted so much attention that people were much more interested in these small bags than the furniture to sell. Bags that were quickly put up for sale.
After this great marketing idea, at another fair, the Bread & Butter fair, when it occurred to him to add crystals to a military jacket. This design, as it happened with the small bags, captured all the attention of the fair. It was from this moment that Philipp discovered the world of fashion and especially fashion design.
