4 homemade shaving cream recipes to make at home

How often do you usually shave? There are men who do it every day, either for aesthetic reasons directly motivated by work reasons (for example, because at work they “prohibit” having facial hair), or even because they simply do not like having a mustache or beard. There are also others who tend to keep their beards in perpetuity, so that they only shave the neck area and trim their beards with the help of an electric razor (or if they have a little patience, using scissors). Be it one way or another, perhaps at some point you have considered what ingredients the shaving cream that you usually use every week has. Are there any substances or elements that may not be so positive or beneficial for the skin? Whether this is the case or not, it is perfectly possible to make homemade shaving creams, ideal precisely because only we will know what ingredients we have used in their preparation, and because they are probably creams in which we use one hundred percent natural ingredients.

Perhaps at some point you have considered the possibility of making your own soap at home, shampoo, deodorant and even the same facial creams and masks. However, have you also considered making a homemade shaving cream?

The truth is that it is a unique option if you are concerned about knowing the origin and the ingredients and substances that you would find in most of the products that you use every day, especially those products in which it tends to be a little more common to distinguish certain substances or chemical elements that can end up being not so respectful for the skin (or even for our health in general).

This is what happens, for example, with deodorant, especially after a few years ago we learned that some scientific studies pointed out the possible relationship between the use of commercial deodorants -which would contain certain chemical substances-, and breast cancer (mom).

In this sense, there is no doubt that the number of women and men who care about the quality of the cosmetic and aesthetic products they use every day tends to grow. And shaving cream, obviously, becomes one of the main ones (indeed, not only precisely in men, but also in women). Therefore, how is it possible to make shaving creams at home that help us when shaving our face or body, and also nourish and hydrate the skin?
